From Software's trademark nonstop intensity is significantly ratcheted down when roaming about open spaces, where it's easy to escape or simply avoid most enemies. And the exquisitely handcrafted, labyrinthine environments the studio is known for are limited to keeps, caverns, and dungeons found within the open world. Players must unlock the location first, done through a small event with Melina (information provided below).
At the Roundtable Hold, you will find some NPCs on your first visit.
Entering this area will result in a very difficult encounter with an invader, Mad Tongue Alberich.
The big change, of course, is that these familiar features are set in a sprawling, more or less ungated open world that players can freely explore.
Once the player is outside, head to the left ignoring all the enemies and follow the path without entering the swamp, past a few crumbling ruins.
Players are forced to earn their victories, and that means something. You do not need to successfully defeat the host; simply leaving with the Finger Severer is enough.
Upon completion of the questline, Varré will grant you the Bloody Finger.

All he says is "be sure to try that finger I gave you, im quite certain you will take to it." Do I have to do the invasion around him? Its sickly pale skin feels nothing now, but the nail still aches with sweetest pain.
Where to find Bloody Finger:
Said Site of Grace must not be located in Limgrave (West and East) or Weeping Peninsula. D, Hunter of the Dead will mark the way-gate on the map if the player shows him any aquired Deathroot.
Once Roundtable Hold is unlocked, the player can go back and forth using the Fast Travel feature on the Map menu.
Players will need to determine for themselves whether it's an improvement.
As you progress through the rooms, beware of the lower section that you can enter by jumping over the balcony.
This area can only be accessed via fast travel. But whether this open world makes for a better experience than the Dark Souls games -- which feature meticulously designed and mostly linear environments -- is an open question. But do these modifications improve upon the traditional Souls formula? Using these will spawn you at another location in the same session.
Note that in order to do so, players must have visited any of them previously.
It's a bit reductive to suggest that this is just a Dark Souls game set in an open world, but when you get right down to it, that's exactly what it is.
In the end, Elden Ring knows what it wants to be and it fully embodies that game. This will teleport you directly in front of the Bestial Sanctum doors.
The most common contenders are Liurnia of the Lakes and Caelid.
After attempting Margit the Fell Omen (he does not necessarily need to be killed) the player may rest at a Site of Grace in Limgrave such as the Castleward Tunnel Site of Grace and receive an invitation to the Roundtable from Melina if they had not received one prior by meeting the above condition.
The player can access Roundtable Hold as soon as they set foot in Limgrave (not required) by performing either of the following.
The first door will require one Stonesword Key to open, and contains a chest holding Crepus's Black-Key Crossbow. After this, they can either force quit the game (to despawn the invader), or simply wait around until the NPC comes up and kills them, allowing them to respawn inside the church. At times Dark Souls players will feel like they're simply playing a sequel in that series as they tread cautiously through dark towers.
Open them, step inside and the Site of Grace is located a bit further inside, to the right between the pillars. Solo invasions cannot happen unless the host has used the Taunter's Tongue.

The bustling hub area that exists outside of the Lands Between. I have gotten the festered finger and have been told to try using it and invading people, however, no matter how many times I do it I go back to the guy at the rose church and he wont anoint me. By going to the end of the broken bridge where the Finger Reader Crone is first met (by following the path north from Stormhill Shack), the player will be able to see some debris leading down.
